Always good to see the Brazilian scene plugging along – despite its relative isolation, it’s been a consistently active scene since the early 2000s. Despite the strange lack of a pro division, there’s some new names in the am division – and this might be the strongest women’s division there’s ever been in a Brazilian contest – which is a good sign of growth to come.
There’s at least three more contests planned for Brazil in 2025 – including Tai Tai’s ever-popular Big Rio contest – so keep your eyes on the freestyle events calendar to be notified when the dates and locations get locked in on those.
