Paderborn BBQ Contest 2025

After the fantastic celebration of its 25th anniversary in Paderborn last year, an event that set records for both competitors and attendees, the 26th annual freestyle event will return in 2025! Join us on July 12-13 at Goldgrund Skatepark for another thrilling weekend, featuring Saturday’s street competition and Sunday’s freestyle contest.

This event is one of the most cherished freestyle competitions in the world and holds the title of the longest-running freestyle competition. While we currently have the date and location, the full schedule is still to be announced. However, based on previous years, you can expect a delightful free breakfast for all competitors at around 9:00 AM on Sunday, with warm-ups starting at noon and finishing with the prize ceremony around 20:00.

Categories include Pro, Amateurs, Girls, and Masters. The entry fee is typically around €25, which includes a t-shirt, an apple, and a bottle of water, plus the free camping with free showers.

Though the skatepark surface may not be the largest or the smoothest, it’s the vibrant atmosphere and the community spirit that draw people back year after year. We can’t wait to see you there!
