Brasil Freestyle Championship 2026

Brazil Welcomes Back Freestyle Skateboarding with a New Competition in Rio de Janeiro!
After a long wait and growing uncertainty about whether Brazil would host any freestyle skateboarding competitions this year, we finally have some exciting news! A new event has just been announced in Rio de Janeiro, bringing freestyle skateboarding back to the Brazilian competition scene. Brazil has traditionally been one of the busiest countries on the freestyle calendar, usually hosting around 3–4 competitions every year, so the lack of events this season had certainly been noticeable. Fortunately, the wait is over!
The competition will take place on December 5–6, 2026, in Barra da Tijuca, Rio de Janeiro, and will feature five divisions:
- Women’s Amateur
- Men’s Amateur
- Masters Amateur
- Pro
- Masters Pro
With Brazil’s passionate skateboarding community and its long-standing contribution to the international freestyle scene, this event is a welcome addition to the calendar and a great opportunity for local riders to compete, reconnect, and showcase their skills.
More details about the event are expected to follow!
