SUMMARY:Open German Freestyle Competition
DESCRIPTION:🇩🇪 Open German Freestyle Competition 2025 – Marl\n📅 Saturday\, December 13\, 2025📍 Sports Hall\, August Döhr School – Marl\, Germany \nFreestyle Skateboarding returns to Marl! For the first time in 40 years\, the German freestyle community will gather again for an open national championship that connects generations — bringing together the legends of the past and the rising stars of today. \nExpect to see some of Europe’s finest freestylers\, all sharing the floor and pushing the limits of creativity\, style\, and flow. \n\n📝 Registration\nFill out the registration form with your name\, music\, and division here:👉 https://tinyurl.com/3sasmdx2 \n\n🏆 Divisions\n\nPro\n\nAmateur\nWomen+\n\nKids\n\nMasters\n\n\nThe Sports Hall of August Döhr School offers excellent conditions\,  a large\, smooth surface ideal for competition\, warm-up\, and training sessions. \nAll participants are welcome to stay overnight directly inside the hall\, making it a true freestyle weekend experience. \nTo make traveling easier\, a pickup service will be available: \n\nFriday (before the event)\n\nSunday & Monday (after the event)Regular trips will run to and from Marl Sinsen and Marl Mitte train stations.\n\n\n\n❤️ Honoring the Roots of German Freestyle\nThis event is not just a contest\, it’s a tribute. \nBack in 1984\, over 40 years ago\, a legendary freestyle competition took place right here in Marl. Those pioneers weren’t superstars\, but visionaries\, skaters who built something new with passion\, curiosity\, and determination. \nNow\, in 2025\, we come together not out of nostalgia\, but to celebrate continuity\, a bridge between generations. We warmly invite all former participants to join us again\, whether as spectators\, guests\, or competitors in the Masters division. \nBecause skateboarding is more than a sport\, it’s a living culture\, a family.A place where generations don’t face each other\, but ride together.Where mutual respect transcends age\, status\, or ability. \nIn times when the world feels divided\, freestyle reminds us what true community means\,  young talents\, old legends\, parents\, children\, beginners\, and champions\, all connected by one board and four wheels. \nWe hope to see many of the original riders return to Marl\,  some of whom are still skating\, competing\, and inspiring others today. \nYou are the proof that skateboarding has no expiration date. \nWe can’t wait to welcome you to Marl for an unforgettable weekend of freestyle\, friendship\, and history in motion. 🛹🔥

SUMMARY:Bucharest Skate Open 2025
DESCRIPTION:I’m excited to invite you to the first competition of 2025 in Romania! \nThe event will take place at Spot Skatepark\, a DIY indoor skatepark in Bucharest\, which means it’s happening no matter the weather. \nTraditionally\, this contest has been focused on street\, but in the last two years the organizer has welcomed freestyle as well. That means we’ll be sharing the day with the street contest\, so time management will be important\, but since it’s a relatively small event\, everything should run smoothly. \nWe’ll have just two categories: PRO and AM. Each rider will get a 1.5-minute run\, as we need to fit both freestyle and street into the same day. \nThe entry fee is €10\, payable on site. The floor is smooth concrete \, slightly slippery\, but it rides fine. The park itself is a bit narrow\, but still long enough to pick up speed for a solid coco wheelie. \nI’m really looking forward to seeing many of you there and sharing a great time together! \n Marius Constantin

SUMMARY:World Freestyle 2025
DESCRIPTION:This is it! The premier event you’ve been waiting for! I’m referring to the World Freestyle Championships\, the largest freestyle skateboarding competition in the world\, boasting over 100 competitors each year. Formerly known as EuroFreestyle\, it has quickly established itself as the foremost competition globally\, attracting participants from not just Europe\, but from all corners of the globe. This is the platform where significant announcements have been made in the past\, including the release of new pro models\, such as Carmen Ionita’s groundbreaking debut as the first female pro in Europe\, community award trophies\, and new inductees into the Freestyle Hall of Fame. \nChristian Heise\, the main organizer\, has done an exceptional job in elevating the professionalism of this event. The 2025 edition will take place at the Regatta Course in Brandenburg an der Havel\, located in the northeast of the city\, directly on Lake Beetzsee\, from 6 to 8 June. This venue provides ample space for the World Freestyle Championships as well as the anticipated ‘Global Jam’ supporting program. \nThe event goes beyond just the freestyle competition\, it features a wide array of activities for attendees. Last year\, visitors enjoyed attractions such as mini ramps\, nearby skate shops\, photo booths\, fun activities for kids\, a pump track\, and much more. We expect this year to be equally exciting\, if not better. \nCompetition categories include Pro\, Amateurs\, Girls\, Masters\, Rookies\, and Kids (under 12 years). \nLast year\, the entry fee was €40\, which included free camping on-site (tent required)\, a goodie bag with a t-shirt and merchandise\, and a complimentary dinner at the awards ceremony held at a local Greek restaurant. While we await confirmation of this year’s details\, we will update you as soon as we receive new information. \nGiven that this is the largest event in the world\, it is a must-attend for those looking to accumulate points for the world ranking. If that’s important to you\, this competition is not to be missed! \n\nClick here for the contest results
